We are a group of people involved in the local (Seattle/Tacoma area) music industry. We'd thought for some time that there wasn't really any one place where people can get information on the local scene from Everett to Tacoma, and beyond in some cases. So, we put our heads together, and what you're seeing now are the results.

We started RockPoster.net with the hopes that it would become a meeting place for the sharing of information, opinions and ideas in addition to being a good resource for those involved with the local music scene. Since our launch in June 2002, we have added a few elements to the website, including our Discussion Board which averages several hundred hits a day with new members signing up daily.

We are funding this venture ourselves, and by doing so there are bound to be mistakes from time to time. We will attempt to have the most accurate information available at all times, but if you discover an error we hope that you will let us know so that it can be corrected.

The success or failure of this website will be determined by the people who choose to participate. We are setting no limits or boundaries on what can be discussed on our forum, but we do prefer that people don't lodge personal attacks on other people, bands or rooms. If you've got a beef with someone, we ask that you keep your comments relevant to the situation at hand and leave their mother out of it!
